SASHS Alumni Basketball Game

The 3rd annual Greyhound Alumni Basketball Game sponsored by the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Shippensburg Area Senior High School. If you would like to play or cheer in this event, please print out the informational letter and registration form from our website. You do not need to have played basketball or been a cheerleader in high school to participate. We encourage anyone who would like to participate to do so. Admission for family, friends and other alumni basketball fans is a donation to the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation. The foundation supports educational and grief and loss programs in Shippensburg.

After a tragic traffic accident in the Outer Banks, NC, on June 13, 2006, claimed the life of their son, Drew Michael Taylor, Randy and Marcie Taylor decided to create a foundation in his name. Through the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation, they will honor Drew’s memory by making a positive difference in the lives of children and youth.

Rock 4 Drew was created by Tony Diehl in his memory to raise funds for the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation. R4D is a one day celebration of life, music, friends and family held annually at the Britton Park in Shippensburg, Pa.

Dash For Drew

Drew Taylor, 3 ½ year old son of Randy and Marcie Taylor of Shippensburg, was killed in a tragic auto accident on June 13, 2006. The Dash for Drew was organized in his memory. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation where they will be used to finance a community service award at Greencastle Antrim High School, early literacy education in the Shippensburg Area School District, and Drew’s Hope - a grief and loss support program for children, teens and their families. Drives for Drew

- The foundation will receive a $1 donation for every bucket of golf balls purchased on Tuesdays at the driving range at The Links in Shippensburg.
